It’s true!
Tom Crumrine Sr. started at Nationwide in 1966 in the claims department, having left his job as a teacher so he could better support his growing family. And over the years, he worked his way up to be the president of the agency before retiring.
And now, his son, Tom Crumrine Jr. has taken on that legacy and spirit of entrepreneurship, having been inspired by his father and his friends – all executives at Nationwide – who said the two best jobs in the agency were the President and the agents.
“I followed in his footsteps because I used to go on award trips with him as a kid, spending time with him and his friends in a social setting. I liked the lifestyle of an agent,” said Tom Crumrine Jr., a 1985 graduate of Westerville North High School.
At Westerville North, Tom was an all-conference player in basketball and football, earning a scholarship to the University of Kentucky, where he played football.
He’s taken the heart and work-ethic of an athlete to Crumrine Financial Services, where he provides the safety and security to a family’s assets by providing a path for growth and safety.
In 1992, he started his own insurance agency in Lexington, KY – building it from the ground up with a phone and a list. Over the years, he has grown and expanded, moving back to Westerville where he now has three locations – all focused on serving his customers with a “Customers before Companies” mindset.
As an independent agent, Tom can really focus on giving his customers the best deal.
